Sharmila Tagore On Bikini Photoshoot: Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore is one of the top actresses of her time. Kashmir ki Kali i.e. actress Sharmila Tagore, who ruled the hearts of fans in the 60s and 70s, created a stir in Indian cinema by doing a photoshoot wearing a bikini. Recently, Sharmila has revealed the reaction of her husband Tiger Pataudi on her bikini photoshoot.
Sharmila Tagore is the first actress to wear a bikini in Bollywood. The actress had done a photoshoot wearing a bikini and swimsuit for the film ‘An Evening in Paris’. Now in an interview given to Kapil Sibal’s YouTube channel, Sharmila told that when she had done this shoot, Tiger Pataudi was in London and he had no idea about it.

Sharmila Tagore said- ‘My husband was very different. He was very less upset and was extremely supportive. He was calm and non-judgmental. He was far away in London and did not even know what was happening here. I believe questions were asked in Parliament. I had no idea that it could cause so much commotion.’
‘I was young, I had a good figure…’
Talking about the bikini photoshoot, Sharmila further said- ‘I was young, I had a good figure and no one forced me to do this. The cameraman asked me something about it, but I did not pay any attention.’
Returning with ‘Gulmohar’ after 12 years
On the work front, Sharmila Tagore was last seen in the film ‘Gulmohar’. The actress made a comeback to films after 12 years with this film released on Hotstar. Apart from Sharmila, Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, Simran and Kaveri Seth also appeared in important roles in ‘Gulmohar’.
